Welcome to Earthy

Earthy is a local food market, online store and home delivery service (launching early autumn). We sell and deliver a wide range of fairly-traded, local, seasonal and organic produce in and around Edinburgh.

We set up Earthy because we want to celebrate great tasting food and the dedicated people who produce it. Whether it's a small farm 20 miles down the road rearing delicious organic beef, or a co-operative in Spain bottling its own rich, distinctive olive oil, we think it's worth making a bit of a song and dance about the best quality produce we can find.

If you love your food too, then pop into the Earthy Food Market at 33-41 Ratcliffe Terrace in Edinburgh and experience it first hand. We’re open 7 days a week: Mondays to Fridays 8.30am - 7.30pm; Saturdays 8.30am - 6pm, and Sundays 10am - 5pm. We have a customer car park and friendly, knowledgeable staff are waiting to help you.

What's in season......

Gourds - from tiny courgettes to the space-saucer-shaped patty pans, it's the season of summer squashes. Grab some today. Dice them and give them lots of your thyme (and garlic too). Sautee gently in good olive oil until slightly mushy. Add a handful of parmesan shavings and a dollop of creme fraise. Spread over hot toast and dig-in.

Freshly-foraged Scottish Chanterelles, organic Scottish oyster mushrooms, organic chestnut mushrooms - they're all here at Earthy along with wild venison, organic beef & pork, UK apples, the sweetest of organic corn on their cobs and a host of other seasonal delights for you to enjoy.
